About the Workshop

Revamp Bayelsa is a girl-centered empowerment initiative created to help teenage girls develop confidence, leadership capacity, and practical problem-solving skills.Through interactive sessions, collaborative learning, and leadership simulations, participants gain the tools needed to create meaningful impact in their communities.

Who can apply?
Girls aged 13–19 residing in Bayelsa State, including secondary school students and recent secondary school graduates.
Is participation free?
Yes. Participation in the Revamp Workshop is completely free for selected applicants.
How are applicants selected?
Applicants are selected based on their essay submissions. Entries will be reviewed for originality, clarity of thought, problem-solving ability, and leadership potential.
Do I need leadership experience?
No. Revamp is designed for girls who are willing to learn, grow, and develop leadership skills, regardless of prior experience.
Can I apply through my school?
Yes. Applications can be submitted directly by email or through the designated Revamp partner/teacher in participating schools.
If I’m not selected, can I pay to participate?
No. Participation in Revamp Workshop is strictly by selection through the essay application process. Admission cannot be secured through payment.
